This lovely 1930s terraced house required remodelling after the owner was unsatisified with the design of the prevision homeowners. Although the property already featured a rear extension, due to the bad spatial planning it didn't allow for much useable space.
The Approach
The new proposal involves the demolition of the old extension and extends the house by 3.6 meters, allowing for the relocation of the current kitchen to the rear whilst adding space for dining. The new structure is brick built instead of the dated glass conservatory and neatly juxtaposes itself against the original house.
